A YEAR WITH A DEFINED SCOPE
Make the handoff
as clear as the equipment.
Your company gets its own identity. The proposed first-year bridge combines training, reasonable support, agreed website edits and applicable lead routing.
What you own. What the seller retains.
| Included in the proposed buyer setup | Retained or excluded |
|---|---|
| Listed truck, trailer and equipment under the final asset schedule | Existing legal entity is not automatically transferred |
| Buyer’s own company branding, website and agreed operating setup | Permanent CoKo’s name and current domain ownership |
| Buyer-owned business phone, domain and email configuration | Seller’s longtime personal phone number |
| Agreed training, website edits and system support for 12 months | Unlimited support, indefinite free hosting or future integrations |
| Applicable lead routing and appropriate introductions where permitted | Guaranteed customers, unrestricted customer data, Google reviews or lead volume |
Build the agreement around a real schedule.
Before closing
Confirm inventory, titles, inspections, digital scope, recurring costs and acceptance checks. Record the transition start and end dates and the people responsible for each step.
At handover
Complete title and asset transfer, issue buyer-owned accounts, configure contact routing and agree on the initial training schedule. Verify access and notification delivery.
During the first year
Use scheduled training and reasonable support for agreed equipment, system and website needs. Review routed inquiries and keep source, permission and ownership boundaries clear.
At the end of the year
Complete the agreed access and data handover, end temporary forwarding and settle any separate ongoing hosting or support arrangement. Your own company identity continues independently.
Lead routing is a bridge with limits.
Applicable pressure-washing inquiries from agreed existing sources may be routed to the buyer where feasible and permitted. Define each source and destination: calls, texts, website inquiries, email or platform-generated inquiries may have different technical and policy requirements. Personal communications must remain with the seller.
No customer is obligated to hire the buyer. Existing Google Business Profile ownership and reviews do not transfer automatically. Customer introductions or job evidence must respect permissions and privacy, and the buyer should not assume unrestricted access to historical customer records.
Write down support boundaries.
The proposed year of support should list covered topics, training format, reasonable contact availability, expected response windows, website-edit limits, travel responsibilities and any third-party costs. Emergencies, field labor, major new integrations, unlimited revisions and extra services should not be assumed included.
Discuss the seller’s competition commitment.
The seller is willing to document an appropriate one-year pressure-washing noncompete and transition arrangement. Exact permitted terms, geography, activities and exceptions need a written agreement. This page does not establish a binding noncompete.
Closing should leave both sides clear.
The signed asset agreement should control what is included, what is excluded, payment conditions, inspections, title transfer, possession, digital acceptance and the exact support term. Appropriate legal, tax and title professionals can help document the transaction. This website collects inquiries; it does not accept deposits or binding offers.
How does the 12-month lead transition work?
Where technically feasible and permitted, the seller will route applicable pressure-washing opportunities from agreed existing sources during a defined one-year transition. Sources, routing methods, permissions, start and end dates and any costs must be written into the agreement. Leads remain free to choose another contractor.
Do I receive the seller’s personal phone number?
No. That number remains with the seller. You use a buyer-owned business number. Applicable business inquiry routing may be configured during the agreed transition without transferring ownership of the personal number.
What training and support are included?
The proposed scope covers equipment familiarization, operating workflows, quoting, website and marketing training, agreed website edits and system support for 12 months. Scheduling, reasonable availability, response expectations, limits and any travel costs must be agreed in writing. This is not unlimited or round-the-clock support.
What happens after year one?
The agreed transition and support term ends on the written end date. Your new brand, agreed buyer-owned website, domain and business number remain yours. Ongoing hosting, licenses, maintenance or optional support require a separate arrangement. Define any forwarding shutdown and data handover before closing.
